In the book the miracle worker by William Gibson. Annie did many miracles to help the Kelle family. Annie's biggest miracle was what no one but Annie thought could happen, Helen finally spoke. Annie also brought the Keller family closer together. With out Annie their family might not have been as close.
Helen was Annie's main miracle and is what the story was named for. Before Annie came Helen was uncontrollable, and no one knew what to do other then put her in a sort of home. When Annie came she gets Helen to become cleaner and disciplined, but Annie wanted more. The water incident is what had started the new like of Helen Keller. The title'the miracle worker' was because it was thought impossible to actually help Helen.
Atfirst Mr. Keller was very strict but Annie had changed that and also changed Mrs. Kellers attitude. When Mr. Keller hadfirst met Annie he and her did not get along. Mr. Keller was always the type who never let others state their opinion about things, it had too be his way always. Annie was thefirst person who had argued with him, and to make it worst she was a women. Finally Annie had got to him, and got Mrs. Keller to state her opinion also. Mr. Keller Gave in and would let things happen, and hear things out for once.
James always tried to do as Annie and tell his father what he thought, but it never worked until Annie broke through to him. Seeing Annie tell her father the same things he had been saying for years made him want to do it more. After Annie had said all this, Mr. Keller would still not listen to James then finally just broke out and said what was on his mind, and Mr. Keller had listened. James had got closer to both Mrs. Keller and Mr. Keller by speaking his mind, which he probably would never had done if he hadn't seen someone else do so.
