Harry Potter, along with his best friends, Ron and Hermione, is about to start his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Harry can't wait to get back to school after the summer holidays (Who wouldn't if they lived with the horrible Dursleys?)
But when Harry gets to Hogwarts, the atmosphere is tense. There's an escaped mass murderer on the loose, and the sinister prison guards of Azkaban have been called in to guard the school……..
Chapter one – Owl Post and Chapter two – Aunt Marge's Big mistake
Harry Potter was a highly unusual boy in many ways. He hated the summer holidays more then any other time of the year. For another, he really wanted to do his homework. And he also happened to be a wizard.
When Harry went down to breakfast next morning, the Dursleys were already sitting around the kitchen table. Far from wishing Harry a happy birthday, none of the Dursleys gave any sign that they had noticed Harry enter the room, but Harry was far too used to this to care. Then Uncle Vernon tells them Aunt Marge's is coming. Harry really hated Aunt Marge, but uncle Vernon had to sign a permissionform for Hogwarts, and the only way he was going to sign the form, Harry had to act like a Muggle.
But on the last evening Aunt Marge's was there, Harry gets very angry, because she's saying all kinds of bad things about his parents. She seemed to be swelling with anger – but the swelling didn't stop. Her red face started to expand, each of her fingers blowing up like a salami.
Chapter three – The Knight Bus and Chapter four – The Leaky Cauldron
Harry runs away from home and is rescued by'The Knight Bus', emergency transport for the stranded witch or wizard. Harry thinks he is going to be arrested, because underage wizards aren't allowed to use magic outsid…
