Martin Luther was born in 1483. He was the husband of a former nun, Katharina von Bora, and raised six children. Martin Luther would then soon become the German leader of the Protestant Reformation.
Luther began his education at Eisenach and then to the University of Erfurt. In the year 1505 he finished his master's examination, and began to study law. Months after he found himself studying law, there was a change of events. Luther began going through a religious phase. He then entered a monastery of the Augustinian friars a t Erfurt. He began to study, intensively, the Scripture, and then was ordained a priest in 1507.
In 1510, Luther was sent on business to Rome for his order. While in Rome he was then shocked by the spiritual laxity apparent in high ecclesiastical areas. When he returned back home he finished the work for his theological doctorate, and later became a professor at Wittenberg. This period was the beginning of the intimacy between Luther and John von Staupitz, who later influenced him to say, "I have received everything form Staupitz". Luther began getting obsessed with anxieties about his own salvation, in which he sought relief in frequent confession and extreme asceticism.
Luther still considered his activities as directed toward reforms within the church. His opponents found his ideas heretical. Several attempts were made to reconcile Luther back into the church, but a compromise wasn't about to come out of either side. In Luther's address to the Christian Nobility of the German Nation, he supported the new nationalism by advocating German control of German ecclesiastical matters. He appealed to the German princes to help effect the reformation in Germany. Luther then fought the claim of papacy of authority. Martin LUTHER was born on November 10, 1483, from Hans and Margaret Luther, he grow in this an humble family, he didn't' t herit from luxuries, but from he receives a good education, his parents were Germans and were living in the Thuringian mountain, but martin Luther was born, baptized, and died in the little town of Eisleben
Martin Luther was very young when his parents moved from Eisleben to Mansfeld where he his brother and his three sisters grow up, martin's father wanted him to go to school because he was the eldest son, they send him to the school village, martin wanted to leave the school because his teachers were ignorant but his parents obliged him to stay, in 1502, he took the degree of bachelor of arts and three years later that of master of arts, when he left the village school, he passed nine years in training before starting to work as a monk , a monk for was somebody that was supposed to stay in monastery with other monks , a man that was never going to get married , a man that will have to fast and pray ,a man that work was to bring his fellowmen to Jesus , a man that was supposed to die and to go to heaven . In thefirst times he refused but after he finally get a monastery where he was staying and so become a monk. Luther was ordained priest on February 1507, his father was against it because for him his son has dishonoured him, after few days he was call to teach at Wittenberg university, when teaching three a happy day come in his life it was in October 1510 a dispute started between several monasteries so then to send someone to the pope in Rome to make him a report and to negotiate, they finally judged that martin was good for that so they send him and john von mechelm an agent of the monasteries of Nuremberg . When back from Rome he was now a teacher of theology in the Wittenberg University.
